Festive Friday Challenge #152 - Family Day

It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project. We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.

This week’s challenge FF #151 - Family Day

Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. I used bright colours, twine, texture and large sentiment from the Inspo list. I made this card on my recent sketch challenge. Here's the sketch I used.

Now, here's the card I created. I am having so much fun with the Trusty Tools Bundle from the Stampin' Up! Jan to Apr Mini Catalogue. The coordinating Designer Series Paper that you can get free during Sale-a-Bration makes it so easy to create these fun cards!

Instructions

Cut Basic Gray cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Crushed Curry cardstock 4" x 5 1/4".
Use peg board die to cut holes in Crushed Curry cardstock down right side
Adhere to card base
Cut Designer Series Paper 2" x 5 1/4"
Adhere to left side of card base
Punch circle using 2 3/8" Circle Punch from Basic Gray cardstock
Punch circle using 2" Circle Punch from Poppy Parade cardstock
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Wrap Linen Thread around hand 3 times. Pinch in the middle and pull off
Adhere to card base over circles
Cut out 3 tools from Designer Series Paper
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Stamp sentiments using Basic Gray and Poppy Parade ink
Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp tape measure image in bottom left corner using Tuxedo Black Memento ink
Stamp middle using Poppy Parade ink
Adhere to inside of card.

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon or embossing folder. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.
