Technique Tuesday Blog Hop - Reinker Techniques

Today I'm hopping with Stamping Demonstrators from around the world sharing projects featuring Reinker Techniques. I love to watercolour and creating pretty backgrounds using reinkers is one of my favourites.

It's so easy to create a background using a Reinker, WaterPainter and Fluid 100 Paper.  In fact, create a bunch and then you're set to go no matter what kind of card you need.

I paired the Perennial Postage sentiment along with die cuts from the Forever Forest Dies (Yay that they carried over!) for this card.  Isn't this pretty in Daffodil Delight, Balmy Blue and Mossy Meadow.

Instructions

  1. Cut Mossy Meadow cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4".  Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
  2. Mix Daffodil Delight reinker with water and mix using largest Water Painter.
  3. Brush across top of Fluid 100 water color paper.
  4. Report using Balmy Blue and Mossy Meadow going down the piece of paper.  Blend the lines of colours.
  5. Let dry or dry with Heat Tool
  6. Cut to 4" x 5 1/4" (save extra)
  7. Adhere to card base using Tear n' Tape Adhesive
  8. Cut trees using Dies from Mossy Meadow cardstock
  9. Adhere to card base using Dimensionals or Adhesive Foam Strips
  10. Stamp sentiment on Very Vanilla cardstock using Mossy Meadow ink.
  11. Cut out using Paper Snips
  12. Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
  13. Colour embellishments using Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blend
  14. Adhere to card base
  15. Cut Very Vanilla cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
  16. Cut piece of background to 3/4" x 4"
  17. Adhere to right side of Very Vanilla cardstock
  18. Adhere to inside of card.
