Stampin' Up! A Little Latte Faux Step Card

Have you seen the new A Little Latte Suite that is available as an Online Exclusive from Stampin' Up!? It is so much fun! I created this Faux Step Card for a Video Hop and Instagram Hop and a recent swap. It was so much fun using the Holographic Paper for the french press. The coffee almost looks good enough to drink!

Faux step cards are so easy to make - much easier than cutting and scoring on a single piece of cardstock! I know I always get the cuts and scores wrong that way!

Instructions

Cut Early Espresso cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 1", 2" and 6 1/2". Fold and burnish on scorelines in mountain, valley, mountain configuration with Bone Folder to form the main card base.
Cut Designer Series Paper (Pattern 1) 4" x 4 1/4" and adhere to large section of card base
Cut Designer Series Paper (Pattern 2) 3/4" x 4" and adhere to first 1" section of card base
Cut Early Espresso cardstock 2 3/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2"
Cut Designer Series Paper (Pattern 2) 2 1/2" x 5 1/4" and adhere to front of Early Espresso cardstock
Adhere to main card base - along bottom 1" section and then to the back
Cut out french press from Holographic Paper using Die
Cut inside of press from Vellum Cardstock using Die
Cut coffee for press from Early Espresso cardstock using Die
Adhere pieces together
Adhere to cardbase using Dimensionals - only adhere Dimensionals under Holographic Paper and Early Espresso sections so the can't be seen
Cut Basic White cardstock 1/2" x 2"
Stamp sentiment using Early Espresso ink
Cut Early Espresso cardstock 3/4" x 2 1/4"
Adhere sentiment to Early Espresso cardstock using Dimensionals
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Adhere Swirl Dots
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 4 1/4"
Adhere to inside of card base.

Techniques Across the Border

Join Lorraine and I and learn (or learn more) about a new technique each month. Our class will be held via Zoom on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 9:30am to 11:30am Pacific. We will explore the technique and make 4 projects in each class.

There are 2 options for each class:

Option 1 - Class Cost $45 and includes 4 projects and a selection of supplies you need to make the projects

Option 2 - If you have the products for the technique - Class Cost FREE with an order of at least $45 before shipping and taxes

Registration for each class closes on the last Wednesday of the month.

If you can't join the class live, you will get a copy of the recorded video.

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature.

This month the club features the Hot Air Balloon bundle from the Stampin' Up! Jan to Apr Mini Catalogue. which is an Online Exclusive being released in March. Add the stamp set to your order for an additional $34.81. Add the bundle (stamp set and dies) and your class is free!

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 4 people per class.
