Showing off the new Stampin' Up! 2024-2026 In Colors

If you joined us for our Virtual Launch last Saturday, you'll recognize this card as one of the Make and Takes. It was fun to create a card to show off all of the beautiful new 2024-2026 Stampin' Up! In Colors. I have a hard time in choosing my favourite! Which one is yours?

This is an easy layout and a great way to use up scraps of cardstock or Designer Series Paper! Here are two version of the card - one in Petunia Pop with the Dashing Designs Embossing Folder and the other in Summer Splash with the Eyelet Embossing Folder. Which do you like best?

Instructions

Cut Thick Basic White cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base
Cut In Color cardstock 2 1/4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Basic White cardstock 2" x 5"
Stamp sentiment on card base in bottom right corner using coordinating ink to the cardstock cut in Step 2
Cut strips of each In Colour 1/2" x 4"
Adhere diagonally on Basic White cardstock about 1/8" apart
Emboss using embossing folder
Adhere to In Color cardstock
Adhere to left side of card base
Adhere embellishments
Stamp sentiment on inside of card using coordinating ink.

Techniques Across the Border

Join Lorraine and I and learn (or learn more) about a new technique each month. Our class will be held via Zoom on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 9:30am to 11:30am Pacific. We will explore the technique and make 4 projects in each class.

You need Embossing Powder and Versamark for this class - Class Cost FREE with an order of at least $45 before shipping and taxes

Registration for each class closes on the last Wednesday of the month.

Each club lasts for 3 months

This was an easy card to make and is a great way to use up scraps of either cardstock or Designer Series Paper. Check out the 2 versions I made - one in Petunia Pop using the Dashing Designs Embossing Folder and one in Summer Splash using the Eyelet Embossing Folder. Which is your favourite? Instructions

Cut Thick Basic White cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut In Color cardstock 2 1/4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Basic White cardstock 2" x 5"
Stamp sentiment in bottom right corner of card base using coordinating Ink to the cardstock layer you cut in Step 2.
Cut 5 strips of In Color Cardstock 1/2" x 4"
Adhere the 5 strips to Basic White cardstock diagonally.
Trim off excess cardstock from both sides using Paper Snips.
Emboss using embossing folder
Adhere to In Color Cardstock
Adhere to left side of card
Adhere embellishments
Stamp sentiment on inside of card using coordinating ink
