Stamping with Friends Blog Hop - Blogger's Choice

Today I'm hopping with the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop. The theme for this hop is "Blogger's Choice". That means I can share anything thing I want to! How fun!

My card today features the Sketched Butterflies Bundle along with the Wildly Flowering Designer Series Paper. I had fun creating this card on a recent sketch challenge. I love the layout and will definitely be using it again!

Here's the sketch that I used.

Now, here's my card! Copper Clay and Misty Moonlight is one of my favourite colour combinations and it worked perfectly for the Designer Series Paper that I chose! Instructions

Cut Thick Basic White cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut 3 strips of Designer Series Paper 3/4" x 4"
Adhere to the card base evenly space across the middle of the card with about 1/4" between each
Cut Copper Clay cardstock 3 1/4" x 4 1/4"
Cut Basic White cardstock 3" x 4"
Stamp sentiment in bottom right corner using Copper Clay ink
Adhere to Copper Clay cardstock
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Cut Basic White cardstock 3" x 4" and stamp the large butterfly in Misty Moonlight and smaller one in Copper Clay
Colour while still wet using Wink of Stella
Cut out using Dies
Cut 9" of Copper Clay Jute and pull apart into individual strands
Put 2 strands together and wrap around palm of hand. Pinch in middle and remove from hand
Adhere to card base
Adhere butterflies over jute using Dimensionals
Adhere Textured Dots
Stamp butterfly on inside of card using Misty Moonlight ink.

Techniques Across the Border

Join Lorraine and I and learn (or learn more) about a new technique each month. Our class will be held via Zoom on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 9:30am to 11:30am Pacific. We will explore the technique and make 4 projects in each class.

Each club lasts for 3 months
