Happy Hibiscus Thank You Card

Have you seen the Two-Tone Cardstock from Stampin' Up! You can now get it in all of the Stampin' Up! Colours - and it's lighter on one side than the other! That's 2x the fun and colours! You might think it's for scrapbooking as it's 12" x 12" but you can use it for any project!

One of the fun techniques you can do with this cardstock is to sand an embossed image to show the white core. This is different from other Stampin' Cardstock which is coloured all the way through.

Check out this pretty card in Petunia Pop I made with the Happy Hibscus Bundle. Love the white accent on the embossing!

Instructions

Cut Basic Black cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Petunia Pop Two-Tone Cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Emboss using Hibiscus Embossing Folder
Use sanding block or sand paper to gentle sand the tops of the embossed texture to show the white centre.
Adhere to the card base.
Stamp 3 flowers on Basic White - 2 of each size using Petunia Pop for the outline and Petunia Pop stamped off for the centre.
Colour flowers using Wink of Stella
Cut and emboss using Die and Embossing Folder.
Stamp 2 small and 2 large leaves on Basic White cardstock using Lost Lagoon - full strength for outside and stamped off for inside.
Cut out using Dies
Adhere flowers on card base using Dimensionals
Adhere leaves behind flowers using Glue Dots
Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Petunia Pop Ink
Cut out using Die
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
Adhere Petunia Pop embellishments.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp cross hatch image in bottom right corner using Petunia Pop ink.
Adhere to inside of card.
