Peaceful View Birthday Card

I made a one layer card using the Peaceful View Stamp Set a couple of weeks ago with my sponge daubers and Stampin' Write Markers and I loved it so much I made i again, this time stepping it up a bit with die cuts and layers!

I forget about techniques I learned with I first started stamping! Check out this gorgeous card that is so simple when you just apply colour to your stamp using Daubers and Markers. You can check these techniques for my One Layer version of this card here.

Instructions

Cut Garden Green cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on card base using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Early Espresso cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut out rectangle from Early Espresso cardstock using largest Die from Perennial Postage Dies.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Ink up stamp using Sponge Daubers with Garden Green, Old Olive, Pecan Pie and Early Espresso ink.
Colour fence image on stamp with Early Espresso Marker
Before stamping, "huff" on the inked up image with your warm breath.
Stamp on Basic White cardstock
Cut out using 2nd largest Perennial Postage Die - leave about 1/2" x 5 1/2" on one side so you can use on the inside of the card.
Adhere to the Garden Green rectangle
Adhere to the card base
Cut Basic White cardstock 1/2" x 2 1/2"
Stamp sentiment using Early Espresso ink
Cut out Garden Green cardstock 3/4" x 2 3/4"
Adhere sentiment to Garden Green cardstock using Dimensionals
Wrap Linen Thread around fingers 2-3 times. Pinch in the middle and remove
Adhere to the left side of the card
Adhere sentiment over Linen Thread using Dimensionals
Adhere Green Hexagons
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut from stamped image 1/2" x 5 1/4"
Adhere to the right side of the Basic White cardstock
Adhere to the inside of the card.
