Bauble Blooms Watercolour Wash Card

Have you seen the Bauble Blooms Bundle that is coming out on July 1st as a new Online Exclusive from Stampin' Up!®?  I'm having so much fun playing with it.

I know it seems early to be thinking about Christmas - it's still June!  But in my mind it's never too early for Christmas!  Check out this pretty card in Secreat Sea, Cloud Cover and Basic Beige!

Instructions

  1. Cut Basic Beige cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2".  Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
  2. Cut Secret Sea cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
  3. Adhere to the card base.
  4. Mix Cloud Cover reinker with a water and some Wink of Stella (you can open up the applicator and pour a little out into the mixture).
  5. Use an Water Painter to create a shimmer wash on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper.
  6. Let dry
  7. Cut out bauble using Die.
  8. Cut out cap for bauble and leaves from Gold Foil using Dies.
  9. Adhere leaves to the bauble
  10. Adhere cap to bauble.
  11. Punch circle from Basic Beige cardstock using 1 7/8" Circle Punch
  12. Stamp sentiment using Secret Sea ink
  13. Adhere to bauble using Dimensionals
  14. Adhere bauble to card base using Dimensionals
  15. Cut 9" of ribbon and then cut in half lengthwise.
  16. Tie a bow with both strands.
  17. Adhere to top of bauble
  18. Adhere Gold Metallic Dots
  19. Stamp sentiment on inside of card using Secret Sea ink.
