Creativity Abounds Blog Hop - June 2025 - Masculine Projects

Time for another Creativity Abounds Blog Hop! We are a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world who are coming together to share our creative ideas with you. We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can inspire you to make creations of your own. You may be starting here or you may have come from someone else's blog - either way there is a list at the end of this post to help you move around all the different blogs and get many amazing ideas. This month we're sharing masculine projects! I always struggle making masculine cards so I decided to play with the new Party Alphabet Dies. Wow, I love them!

Check out this fun card!

Instructions

Cut Basic Black cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4" and emboss using the Mini Corrugated Embossing Folder.
Adhere Adhesive Foam Sheet to the back of Basic Black cardstock and cut out an "H" and a "B" using the Party Alphabet Dies.
Adhere to the embossed cardstock.
Stamp "ahoy" on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere to letters using Dimensionals.
Adhere to card base
Adhere embellishments
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 10 1/2" and score at 5 1/4"
Cut perpendicular to the scoreline at 1 1/2" - 1 1/2" toward top and 1 1/2" towards bottom from the scoreline. Repeat at 2 1/2".
Score between the cut lines at 1 1/2" from scoreline - repeat on other side of scoreline
Fold the flap that has been cut in valley, mountain, valley configuration - this is the pop out configuration.
Stamp sailboat on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Stamp sails using Real Red
Cut out using Die
Stamp waves below the bottom section of the pop out configuration using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
Adhere to the pop out section
