Stamping With Friends Blog Hop - Catalogue Must Haves
Time for a Stamping With Friends Blog Hop! The theme today is "Catalogue Must Haves".
Did you know that Stampin' Up!® releases new products as Online Exclusives every two months! These products are an extension of the printed catalogue and a great way to release new products to use without waiting for a catalogue to be released! My card today is one of the new Online Exclusive Suites that will be released in July called "Floral Charm". It is so pretty!
I used a sketch designed by Maheswari Rajaguru, an amazing Demonstrator from Australia. She created this sketch for an upcoming stamp camp and I couldn't help using it for my card!
Isn't this pretty in Pretty Peacock, Petal Pink, Peach Pie, Basic Beige and Timid Tiger!
Instructions
- Cut Thick Basic White cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
- Cut Pretty Peacock cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Cut Designer Series Paper 2" x 5"
- Adhere to the left side of the Pretty Peacock cardstock
- Cut Designer Series Paper 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"
- Adhere to the right side of the Pretty Peacock cardstock
- Punch a circle from Petal Pink cardstock using 2 3/8" Circle Punch
- Cut out a stem using Die from Peach Pie cardstock and Basic Beige cardstock.
- Adhere to the circle
- Stamp flower on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
- Colour using Blends - Timid Tiger, Peach Pie, Soft Seafoam and Old Olive
- Cut out using Die
- Adhere the circle to the left side of the card base.
- Cut Pretty Peacock cardstock 1" x 3 1/2"
- Stamp sentiment on right side using Veramark
- Sprinkle with WOW! White Embossing Powder and heat to melt
- Adhere sentiment to the right side of card base overlapping the circle using Dimensionals
- Adhere flower on circle using Dimensionals
- Cut 9" of ribbon and then cut in half lengthwise
- Tie a bow with both pieces of ribbon and adhere below circle
- Adhere Petal Pink embellishments
- Cut Designer Series Paper 3/4" x 4 1/4"
- Adhere to the bottom of the inside of the card.
