Festive Friday Challenges #192 - Talk Like a Pirate Day

It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project. We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.

Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. This week’s challenge FF #192 - Talk Like a Pirate Day

I created this fun flap card using the Tractor & Co Bundle - an Online Exclusive from Stampin' Up!®. How fun is this card for Christmas! I chose black, red, white, twine and "flap" fold" from the Inspo List. What will you choose?

Instructions

Cut Real Red cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Real Red cardstock using the 3rd largest Textured Notes Die. Score at 1/2" on one end.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Adhere 1/2" flap to the right side of the card base aligning the scoreline of the rectangle just outside of the edge. Fold the rectangle over on the front of the card base. This is your flap.
Adhere the Basic White cardstock to the inside of the card.
Cut Basic White cardstock using the 4th largest Textured Notes Die. Cut 1/2" off one end.
Adhere a small magnet about 1" from left side of the Real Red flap.
Adhere the other side of the magnet to the card base.
Adhere to the Real Red flap aligning the right edge to the edge of the card base.
Stamp tractor body and cart on Basic White cardstock using Real Red ink.
Stamp 4 tires (1 large and 3 small) using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Basic White cardstock - stamped off.
Stamp trees on Basic White cardstock using Shaded Spruce ink
Cut out fenders, seat, tire centres and grill from Basic Black cardstock using Dies.
Adhere the tire centers to the wheels and fenders to the tractor.
Adhere the wheels to the tractor and cart.
Adhere the trees to the cart.
Adhere the seat to the Basic White cardstock on the flap.
Cut the cart in half (you will use the back half on the inside of the card.
Adhere the tractor and cart to the flap of the card using Dimensionals.
Adhere the grill to the tractor.
Cut 2 pieces of Baker's Twine and tie a bow with both strands
Adhere to the cart.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp sentiment in bottom right corner using Real Red ink
Adhere to the front of the card base
Adhere Real Red & White Peppermint embellishments to the card base
Adhere the back of the cart to the inside of the card in the bottom right corner.
