It's time for another Share It Sunday Blog Hop! We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world and we are sharing our projects with you as part of this blog hop. There is no theme for our blog hop today. We share projects we are working on to inspire you!

I played with a technique I hadn't used for awhile for this card - inking up a clear block and then stamping. It creates a really cool background when you spritz it with water and then stamp. And it's the perfect background for the lovely grasses in the Prairie Grass Stamp Set. Sympathy card are hard to make, but this stamp set has the perfect sentiments.

Instructions

Cut Early Espresso cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on the scoreline using your Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Cloud Cover cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Basic White cardstock 2" x 5"
Ink up a clear block using Cloud Cover ink (or a Cloud Cover Stampin' Blend).
If you use the ink pad - spritz with water. If you use the Stampin' Blend - spritz with Alcohol.
Stamp on Basic White cardstock
Punch out 1 3/4" circle from Basic White cardstock
Repeat stamping with ink or Stampin' Blend
Stamp on circle.
Let both pieces dry
Stamp grass image on large piece and sentiment on circle using Early Espresso ink
Adhere large piece to left side of Cloud Cover cardstock
Punch out 2" circle from Early Espresso cardstock
Adhere sentiment to circle using Dimensionals
Adhere to right side of card base using Dimensionals
Adhere embellishments.
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp grass image in bottom right corner using Early Espresso ink.
Adhere to the inside of the card.
