Festive Friday Challenges #194 - National Chess Day
It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project. We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.
Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. This week’s challenge FF #194 - National Chess Day
I chose black, white and weaving for my 3 items from the Inspo List and used the products from the Modern Christmas Suite from Stampin' Up!® for this pretty card with a little bit of weaving! How could I resist to weave - it's my second passion!

Instructions
- Cut Basic Black cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
- Cut Gold Foil 4" x 5 1/4"
- Cut Basic White cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
- Use Paper Trimmer to cut lines starting 1/2" from left edge. Cut 1" from top down to 4". Repeat 4 times at 1/2" intervals
- Cut 10 strips of Designer Series Paper 1/4" x 4"
- Weave into slots on Basic White cardstock
- Adhere edges on front and back.
- Adhere to Gold Foil
- Adhere to card base.
- Cut out circle using largest Stylish Shapes Circle Die from Basic Black cardstock
- Stamp sentiment on circle using Versamark.
- Sprinkle with Gold Embossing Powder and heat to melt.
- Adhere in bottom right corner of card base using Dimensionals
- Adhere embellishments
- Tie a bow from white and gold Baker's Twine.
- Adhere to circle
- Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
- Cut 2 strips of Designer Series Paper 1/4" x 5 1/4"
- Adhere to right side of Basic White cardstock
- Adhere to inside of card.
