Time for a Stamping With Friends Blog Hop! The theme today is the Stampin' Up!® September to December Mini Catalogue! So much to choose from! I love the Branching Out Bundle so decided to pull out the "floating shape" technique!

Check out this pretty card I made using the Floating Shape Technique! In fact I made 2 cards with the shape I made - you can check out my video for both cards - I'll be sharing the instructions for the second card in a few days on an upcoming Blog!

Isn't this a lovely card! The nice thing about this bundle is that is perfect for lots of different occasions!

Instructions

Cut Early Espresso cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using a Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Basic Beige cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Emboss using the Gathering Leaves embossing folder.
Cut Window Sheet 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"
Cut strips of Designer Series Paper 1/2" x 3 1/2"
Adhere Designer Series Paper to Window Sheet with a gap between each.
Cut out centre using the 3rd largest die from the Branching Out bundle. Save the outside piece for the second card!
Adhere to the embossed cardstock using Dimensionals
Adhere to the cardbase
Cut out stem from Basic Beige cardstock using Die
Cut out 3 pine cones from Early Espresso cardstock using Die
Adhere stem to card base
Adhere pinecones to stem using Mini Dimensionals.
Cut Basic Beige 1/2" x 2" and stamp sentiment on the piece using Early Espresso ink.
Wrap Old Olive Linen Thread around fingers. Pinch in the middle and remove.
Adhere to the top left of the rectangle
Adhere sentiment over thread using Dimensionals.
Adhere Streaked Dots
Cut Basic Beige cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp stem and pine tufts using Early Espresso ink
Adhere to the inside of the card.
