Celebrate the Season

I've been having so much fun with the Delicate Pines Bundle from Stampin' Up!®.  What could be better than snowflakes and pine boughs!

I created my own Designer Series Paper in this card for the holiday season in very traditional Christmas colours - Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce!  I love that the die cuts look a little bit like flowers too!


Instructions

  1. Cut Shaded Spruce cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2".  Fold and burnish on scoreline line using Bone Folder to form card base.
  2. Cut Cherry Cobbler cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
  3. Cut Basic White cardstock 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"
  4. Stamp large snowflakes twice on Basic White using Cherry Cobbler ink.
  5. Stamp smaller snowflakes randomly on Basic White using Shaded Spruce ink.
  6. Adhere to Cherry Cobbler cardstock
  7. Adhere to card base.
  8. Cut out snowflake from Cherry Cobbler cardstock using Die.
  9. Cut out smaller snowflake from Basic White cardstock using Die.
  10. Cut 4" of ribbon and cut ends at an angle
  11. Adhere to the card base about 1 1/2" from bottom.
  12. Adhere smaller snowflake to larger snowflake using a Dimensional.
  13. Adhere to the right side of the ribbon using Dimensionals.
  14. Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Shaded Spruce ink
  15. Cut out using Paper Snips
  16. Adhere to ribbon using Dimensionals.
  17. Adhere Shaded Spruce Faceted Snowflakes to card base.
  18. Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
  19. Stamp large snowflake in bottom right corner using Cherry Cobbler ink
  20. Adhere to the inside of the card.
