Today I'm sharing a card in the Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop. Our theme this month is a sketch challenge created by Chris Pozzi. I love doing sketches and I hope Chris is okay with how I interpreted her sketch!

First, here's the sketch we were given.

Now, here's my card! I immediately saw an arch shaped card when I looked at the sketch so I used the Everyday Arches Dies and partial die cutting to create the card base. I added some fussy cutting and background from the Hobby Haven Designer Series Paper - new Online Exclusives from Stampin' Up!®.

Instructions

Cut Garden Green cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder
Lay largest Arch Die on cardstock with left hand cutting edge just slightly over the scoreline edge. You don't want this side to be cut all the way down. Cut out arch shape.
Cut 2nd largest Arch Die from Designer Series Paper
Adhere to card base.
Cut out shape from Designer Series Paper using Paper Snips
Zig Zag Early Espresso Linen Thread onto card base and adhere cut out Designer Series Paper over it using Dimensionals.
Cut Basic White cardstock 1/2" x 4"
Stamp sentiment using Early Espresso ink
Trim ends of sentiment
Adhere to card base using Glue and Dimensionals
Adhere embellishments
Cut Basic White cardstock using 2nd largest Arch Die
Adhere ephemera across bottom and trim off excess.
Adhere to the inside of the card.
