Stampin' Up!® Aspen Grove Card

Time for another pretty card with the Aspen Grove Stamp Set.  A new stamp set that comes out in the Stampin' Up!® January to April Mini Catalogue.  I love this set - it's perfect for masculine cards, sympathy cards and thinking of you cards!  Well, it's really perfect for any kind of card!  :)

I used the Everyday Arches Dies to create the arch shape and paper from the Hobby Haven Suite - an Online Exclusive from Stampin' Up!®.  You can create any season depending on the colours of leaves you stamp.


Instructions

  1. Cut Garden Green cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4".  Fold an burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
  2. Cut Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4"
  3. Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
  4. Stamp trees in a row using Early Expresso in on Basic White cardstock
  5. Colour left side of trees using Light Crumb Cake Stampin' Blend.
  6. Stamp leaves at top using Garden Green ink and Granny Apple Green ink.
  7. Cut arch from Basic White cardstock using 2nd largest Everyday Arches Die.
  8. Wrap ribbon around botton of arch and tie a bow on right side.
  9. Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
  10. Punch banner from Garden Green cardstock using Banner Labels Punch.
  11. Cut Basic White cardstock 1/2" x 1"
  12. Stamp sentiment on Basic White using Early Espresso ink
  13. Adhere to banner using Dimensionals
  14. Adhere to card base over left side of ribbon using Dimensionals.
  15. Adhere embellishments
  16. Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
  17. Stamp trees on right side using Early Espresso ink
  18. Colour left side of trees using Light Crumb Cake Stampin' Blend.
