Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop - January 2026 - I'm in the Mood for Love

Today I'm hopping other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators in the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop. The theme this month is "I'm in the Mood for Love".

I made a shaker card from the new Sunshine & Tulips Bundle from the Stampin' Up!® Jan to Apr Mini Catalogue. I love this bundle and I immediately saw a shaker card when I spotted it in the catalogue. I decided to use Valentine's Day colours and the adorable Loose Valentine's Assortment for the shaker bits. Lots of little hearts, sprinkles and envelopes!

The tulip die makes it easy! It cuts out a perfect rectangle with tulip shapes.

Instructions

Cut Real Red cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Pretty in Pink cardstock 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Cut out tulip rectangle from Pretty in Pink cardstock using Die.
Cut Window Sheet 4" x 5 1/4"
Adhere to the back of the tulip rectangle. Trim off excess.
Adhere Foam Strips around the edge of the back of the tulip rectangle.
Use Embossing Buddy on front of Real Red card base.
Sprinkle Loose Valentine's Assortment into the middle. Spread out into a thin layer - be careful not to get them too close to the edge.
Remove the backing of the foam strips and adhere the tulip rectangle over the shaker bits.
Press down all around the edge to seal them in.
Cut Basic White cardstock 1/2" x 2"
Stamp sentiment using Real Red ink
Cut Real Red cardstock 5/8" x 2 1/8"
Adhere sentiment to Real Red cardstock using Dimensionals
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp tulips using Real Red ink across the bottom
Adhere to the inside of the card.
Adhere 3 hearts to the front of the card using Liquid Glue.
