Today I'm hopping other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators in the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop. The theme this month is "Spring is in the Air".

We've had an amazingly mild winter on the West Coast - no snow for a change. Although no snow is great, it also means early water restrictions as our water supply is replenished from the snow pack. It also means the early arrival of the our tulips poking up through the ground!

The Sunshine & Tulips Bundle from the Stampin' Up!® Jan to Apr Mini Catalogue is a perfect bundle to celebrate spring! It is so pretty.

For this card I used all of the little tulip die cut pieces to adhere to a layer and then emboss. It creates a pretty background. Also the colour combination of Daffodil Delight and Secret Sea is perfect for a sunny spring day!

Instructions

Cut Daffodil Delight cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Secret Sea cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Daffodil Delight cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
Die cut the large tulip die from Daffodil Delight cardstock
Adhere the tulips randomly to the Daffodil Delight cardstock.
Emboss with the All in a Row Embossing Folder.
Wrap two pieces of Secret Sea ribbon around Daffodil Delight cardstock and adhere to the back
Adhere to the Secret Sea cardstock
Adhere to the card base.
Die cut 2 labels - one from Daffodil Delight cardstock and one from Secret Sea cardstock.
Stamp sentiment on Daffodil Delight label using Secret Sea ink
Stamp row of tulips on top and bottom of label using Secret Sea ink
Cut Secret Sea label in half and adhere to top and bottom of other label
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
Cut Basic White cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
Stamp row of tulips across bottom using Secret Sea ink
Adhere to the inside of the card.
Adhere Embellishments to the front of the card.
