Welcome to our April 2026 Paper Pumpkin Possibilities blog hop featuring the Lakeside Retreat Kit. I love this kit. It coordinates with the Waterside Retreat Suite that is coming out in the May to August Catalogue.

The cards are so nice. Perfect for that special man in your family! Show your appreciation for the men in your life with cards inspired by tranquil waterside scenes.

Makes 9 cards: 3 each of 3 designs with 9 coordinating envelopes
Precut paper pieces and enamel pebble embellishments
Stamp set tailored to male recipients
Coordinating colors: Balmy Blue, Misty Moonlight, Old Olive, Peaceful Pine (Classic Stampin’ Spot), Pecan Pie, Pool Party
Coordinates with the Waterside Retreat Suite Collection (item 167932)!

Here are the cards you can make with the kit. Which is your favourite?

Here's my alternative project. It's a bendy fold card!

Instructions

Cut the Wood grained card base to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Score at 2 3/4"
Score one of the beach scene small cards at 1/4", 1 3/4" and 3 1/4"
Fold the 2 small flaps toward the back and fold the middle scoreline in a mountain configuration
Stamp the birds in the top left corner using Peaceful Pine ink
Stamp the reeds in the bottom right corner using Peaceful Pine ink.
Adhere to the middle of the card base matching scorelines.
Cut Misty Moonlight cardstock 1" x 6". Score at 1/4" and 5 3/4".
Adhere the 2 small flaps to the bottom sides of the card base.
Cut a piece of the Woodgrain card base to 3/4" x 5 1/2"
Adhere to the Misty Moonlight strip.
Adhere a bike in the left corner of the Misty Moonlight strip.
Stamp sentiment on Pecan Pie label using Peaceful Pine ink
Adhere to the right side of the Misty Moonlight strip using Dimensionals
Adhere Pebble embellishments under right wheel of bike and under reeds.
Stamp "Thanks" on the back of the card base using Peaceful Pine ink.
