Festive Friday Challenges #FF0210 - Hot Air Balloon Day

It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project. We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.

Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. This week’s challenge FF #0210 Hot Air Balloon Day

I used the Balloon Festune Bundle for this pretty card in Hydrangea Hue! Don't you love the new In Colors®. I chose primary colours, masking technique and Birthday Sentiment for my card.

Instructions

Cut Hydrangea Hue cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Use "water" mask from the Water and Dotted Lines Masks with Hydrangea Hue ink and a Blending Brush to add the pattern to the Basic White cardstock
Stamp the sentiment in the bottom right corner of the Basic White cardstock using Hybrid Black Ink Pad.
Cut out 2 balloons from Hydrangea Hue In Color DSP using die
Stamp the balloon strings on the water masked paper using Hybrid Black Ink Pad.
Adhere to the card base.
Stamp the top of the string on the balloon using Hybrid Black Ink Pad.
Adhere the balloons on the card base using Dimensionals
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Designer Series Paper 1/2" x 5 1/4"
Adhere to the Basic White cardtsock
Adhere to the inside of the card.
Adhere Embellishments to the card base
