Festive Friday Challenge #FF0216 - National Zoo Awareness Day

It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project.  We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.


Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge  At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. This week’s challenge FF #0216 National Zoo Awareness Day

I spent last Sunday at the Calgary Zoo with some of my Stampin' Up! friends!  


We had so much fun wandering around checking out all of the animals. Here's a couple of my favourites!

I chose Neutral Colours, Fancy Fold Card and Texture for my project and made a back fold fun fold.  This is such an easy fun fold to make and isn't it pretty in the new products from the Stampin' Up!® Sep to Dec Catalogue!  You are going to love the Home for Christmas stamp set and Timeless Christmas Designer Series Paper!


Instructions

  1. Cut Pecan Pie cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4"
  2. Fold and burnish on scorelines using Bone Folder in mountain/valley configuration.
  3. Cut Designer Series Paper 1 7/8" x 5 1/4"
  4. Adhere to the front flap
  5. Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
  6. Emboss with the Softly Woven Embossing Folder
  7. Adhere to the inside of the card
  8. Cut out circle from Pecan Pie using the largest Stylish Shapes Die
  9. Adhere to the front of the card base on the front flap only using Dimensionals
  10. Wrap ribbon around left hand side of front flap and tie a bow.
  11. Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Pecan Pie ink
  12. Fussy cut out and adhere to the circle using Dimensionals.
  13. Stamp gingerbread man on Pecan Pie cardstock using Pecan Pie ink.
  14. Cut out using Die
  15. Adhere to the circle using Dimensionals
  16. Adhere 3 red sequins to buttons.
  17. Cut out circle from Basic White cardstock using the largest Stylish Shapes Die
  18. Adhere on the inside of the card so that it is below the circle on the card front.
