Creativity Abounds - Holidays Blog Hop - October 2026

Time for another Creativity Abounds Blog Hop!  We are a group of very keen Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all around the world who are coming together to share our creative ideas with you. We are happy that you can join us and hope that we can inspire you to make creations of your own. You may be starting here or you may have come from someone else's blog - either way there is a list at the end of this post to help you move around all the different blogs and get many amazing ideas. We all have our country listed - so if you are looking for a demonstrator in your country, these demonstrators would love to look after you with your Stampin' Up!® shopping or if you would like to join our Stampin' Up!® teams.

Here's our amazing Creativity Abounds Design Team!

Our theme this month is Holidays!  We could choose any holiday.  I chose Thanksgiving which we just celebrated in Canada and it is coming up in the US.  I used the Lustrous Leaves Hot Foil Dies for my card and the Smooth Foiling Specialty Paper for a new technique.

Check out this card.  Isn't it pretty!

The technique I used was to apply Stampin' Blends - I used Pumpkin Pie, Golden Glow and Cajun Craze to the Smooth Paper and then spritzed with alcohol.  Thanks Heather Thomas for sharing a card using this technique! This is like using the Blends on Window Sheets with alcohol.  One tip I found was that the Blends dry quickly so while I was applying new colours I went over the other colours to keep them damp.  Then I spritzed the alcohol and used my Heat Tool to move the alcohol around.  It looks like a hot mess while you're working on it, but believe me, the final product is stunning!
