I love the White Christmas stamp set (Item 135767) from the SU! Holiday Catalogue.  This is one of those stamp sets that I looked at and thought I wouldn't buy, but of course then I started to see some amazing cards posted on Pinterest and SU! Demonstrator blogs.  Darn!  And of course now I own it!

Here's some of those amazing samples:

Love this card made by Alison Solven.  She stamped her images and then cut it to look like a window frame.  Love it!

This card was made by Yvonne Jackson.  It's hard to see from the picture, but this has a fancy closure where one end tucks under the ribbon.

I wanted to let you know about my upcoming classes.  I've got lots of classes planned through the end of October.  I'm excited to offer some new classes using Project Life by Stampin' Up! and some basic

stamping classes for those who have limited experience.  

Remember, if you have a group of friends that would like to get together to have fun and these dates do not work for you, email me and we can plan a different date.

Project Life by Stampin’ Up!

September 30th from 7-9pm
Location:  My home in New Westminster
Cost $35
Come and learn about this amazing and quick method of memory keeping - it’s great for everyone as it’s easy and fast!  We’ll make 4 pages to start your album.
All you have to do is bring your pictures.

October 4 from 10 am to noon

Cost $25.  Sign up for this class and World Card Making Day class and save $5 on this class.
Come and learn (or re-learn) the basics of stamping.  We'll make 4 cards using some basic stamping techniques.  All supplies included and you'll go home with 4 cards you can give to family and friends.

Better late than never!

Better late than never!

Here it is Sunday afternoon and I'm a little late with my Saturday post!  I've come to the end of a wonder 2 weeks of holidays on our sailboat relaxing on the west coast of British Columbia.  The weather wasn't perfect, but it's always so lovely to get away.  Indulge me as I share some of the pictures I took - it wasn't many.

Starting under the Lions Gate Bridge as we travelled towards Indian Arm

We just came under the Lions Gate Bridge on our way home when we met up with this freighter.  Thank goodness we weren't both under the bridge at the same time!

Penny - loves the boat as long as it's not moving!

The last part of our vacation was spent in False Creek - beautiful view of downtown Vancouver!

Now I'm home and trying to catch up with everything.  I've actually managed to get down to my craft room this afternoon.  A friend from Norway asked me to make her a card for an upcoming wedding so I needed to finish that.  Also made the same card for my God Son's wedding that I'm heading to in about a weeks time.  My friend specifically asked for a 6x6 card - I like how it turned out.  I had to pull out my envelope punch board to make and envelope to fit, but now the envelope coordinates perfectly with the card.  What do you think?

September already!

September already!

Here it is September already! It's definitely feeling like fall with the chillier evenings.  I'm finishing up my late summer vacation - sitting on our sailboat waiting for the rain to stop so we can move to our next spot.  The weather is supposed to improve so I'm looking forward to one last weekend on our boat in the sunshine!
