Some great ideas for Party with Cake Stampset and the Party Pop-Up Thinlits

I wanted to share some amazing cards I received from friends using the Party with Cake Stamp Set and Party Pop-Up Thinlit Dies in the Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalogue.

Finally back home - Time to Share

It's been a crazy two weeks for me - one week in Regina and then on to Orlando for meetings.  It was interesting going from -20 Celsius to +17 Celsius!  I'm back home now and promise to get back to blogging on a more regular basis.  I plan to get to my craft room and play with some of the new products from the Occasions and Sale-a-Bration Catalogue to share with you.  I did get some cards made before I left - just didn't share them :(

Here's a couple of samples from the Occasions Catalogue.

The first card is made using the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set (Item 140675) with the coordinating Balloon Banquet punch (Item 140609).  I cased the sample on page 13 of the Occasions Catalogue since this is the card that made we want this bundle.



The next card uses the Birthday Blooms stamps set on Water Colour paper.  I water coloured the image using and Blender Pen and So Safron, Blushing Bride and Cucumber Crunch ink pads. To embellish I added a Bow Paper Clip Embellishment.

Happy New Year!

Here it is almost 2016!  Have you made your New Years Resolutions?  I've made one - to get to my craft room on a regular basis (at least once a week) and to blog at least once a week.  Over the past 6 months life has gotten crazy with travel and it seems that I just haven't had the time for either.  I'm hoping that travel will slow down - well after a couple of trips in the next 2 weeks.

I wanted to tell you that the Stampin' Up! Occasions and Sale-a-Brations catalogue are available.  I'll be sending them out to customers today, but if you'd like one and don't have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, email me and I'll mail one to you.

I love the multi-step stamping in the Picture Perfect set - for the Star Fish I used Hello Honey as the base and the stamped with Cajun Craze as the second stamp.
