Are you excited for the Stamparatus?

Tuesday, 14 November 2017

Yesterday I posted about the new Stamparatus from Stampin' Up!  I'm so excited about this new stamp positioning tool.  SU! has been working on it for over two and a half years with the help of demonstrators from around the world.  It is amazing!  There are features on the tool that are not available on other similar tools - a total of 4 stamping surfaces - each plate can be flipped over.  You can also move the plates down to allow you to stamp multiple times on the same project without moving your paper!  Best yet is the price point.  $65 Canadian (compared to others on the market priced between $90 and $110).

Check out the video to see more.

Stampin' Up! is introducing a reservation process for this ordering the Stamparatus.  You will reserve yours in one of three reservation windows (the first one is November 16) and the Stamparatus will be delivered to you in early 2018.

I can finally share the excitement about Stamparatus!

Monday, 13 November 2017

I got home yesterday afternoon from the Stampin' Up! Onstage event in Salt Lake City!  One of the most exciting things announced at Onstage (and there were lots of announcements!) was about the new stamp positioning tool soon to be available from Stampin' Up!  A team of demonstrators have been working with Stampin' Up! over the past two and a half years to design this new tool. It is amazing.
Introducing the Stamparatus!
It’s big news when something breaks the mold and changes everything. The Stamparatus will change the way you stamp, and before long, you’ll wonder how you crafted without it!
Why do YOU need one? You’ll fall in love with stamping all over again when you learn everything you can do with it!
  • Make multiples with ease
  • Consistently stamp crisp, clean images
  • If you want a darker impression, apply more ink and restamp—no need to start over
  • Make fewer mistakes, saving time and money
  • Easily create 2-step, 3-step, and 4-step stamped images using reversible plates
  • Develop new and specialized stamping techniques with adjustable stamping plates and precision placement
Here is a video that Stampin’ Up! created to show you how to use the new tool!
I am so excited about the Stamparatus and I can’t wait to get my hands on mine!  The first reservation period begins on Thursday, November 16 so you can reserve yours beginning then! You'll be able to reserve or pre-order yours starting on November 16th so mark your calendar! I can't wait!  I'll be posting more details of the reservation process before Thursday.

On my home from Onstage 2017

Sunday, 12 November 2017

It's been an amazing 4 days in Salt Lake City.  I've had so much fun and have learned a lot that I can't wait to share with you.  I've also seen the upcoming Occasions Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration catalogues and you are going to LOVE both of them.  One of the perks of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is getting to see and order the products early.  I can't wait to get my hands on some of them and to start sharing them with you.  You'll have to wait a bit longer!

Onstage is an amazing event - me and 2500 of my closing stamping friends!  You can feel the buzz of   excitement every where you go.  Here's a few pictures of the fun we had!

Stay tuned for some pictures of the amazing swaps I received over the next few days.

Swap Share

Tuesday, 7 November 2017

I'm so excited to be heading to Salt Lake City tomorrow for Stampin' Up! OnStage.  It's such an exciting and inspiring event - lots of excitement with new products and a great opportunity to meet new demonstrators and catch up with old friends!

This year I signed up with an organized card swap and a "card candy" swap.  I wanted to share my swaps with you.

First my card for the card swap.

This is a variation of a 3x3 card I made for a swap in April using a water colour technique on the card from in Flirty Flamingo and then Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight on the butterfly stamped and cut out from the In This World stamp set (Item 142652).  There is Gold Metallic Thread behind the butterfly and some Black Rhinestone Jewels to add a pop!

Now for the Card Candy Swap.  I've never participated in one of these before, but it sounded like fun.  You make a 2x2" "card" that can be used on a card front or as part of a collage.  The theme was holiday or Happy New Year from the Holiday catalogue.

Here's my candy:

I used the balloon punch to punch out balloons from Gold Foil and Year of Cheer Designer Series Paper.  I added a strip of gold or silver Year of Cheer washi tape and some gold or silver Metallic Thread.

I'm excited to see what I get in return in both swaps!  Stay tuned and I'll share more pictures over the next few days from OnStage!

If you want to place an order while I'm away, just click on the  Order Stampin’ Up! Online Now button on the right side of the screen to go directly to my online store, or click here or drop me an email if you have any questions.  I may be a little delayed in responding to emails, but I will return your email as soon as I can!

Can you CASE it Friday

Friday, 3 November 2017

Today I want to share with you a card that I CASE'd from a card I received from Jenn Tinline in a monthly swap.  When I opened Jenn's card this month, I immediately knew that I wanted to CASE it. Her card just makes me smile!

Jenn used the Seasonal Chums stamp set (Item 144948) and Coordinating Seasonal Tags Framelit Dies (Item 144685) which are available as a bundle in the Holiday Catalogue (Item 146077).  Her snowman is suspended using Metallic Thread in the opening and spins around.  What is really special about this stamp set and the one I used is that there is a front and back stamp to the card.  It doesn't matter which way he spins you get to see the detail!

Now for my card.
I used the A Little Wild stamp set (Item 144344) and the Coordinating Little Loves Framelit dies (Item 143743).  These are also available as a bundle (Item 145328).  To colour my lion, I used the new Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.  I'm in love with these markers.  It doesn't take any effort at all to get lots of depth to your card.  For this one I used the light and dark Crumb Cake markers for his body and the light and dark Daffodil Delight for the mane.

I can't wait to give this card to someone special!

Interested in learning more about the Stampin' Blends?  Check out my blog post from last week where I CASE'd a couple of cards from the flyer.  You can now order your own set of markers!  Here's some more details on what is available.
