Kylie's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop - June 



Thanks for stopping by!  Today I'm participating in Kylie's Demonstrator Blog Hop with other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world. If you've been following my blog, you'll be noticing a trend.  I'm in love with Terracotta Tile and Pretty Peacock - two of the new In Colours that Stampin' Up! released in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue!  I love these two colours and in particular this combination of colours together!  Aren't they pretty!



My card today features these two colours as well as the Floral Essence Suite.

Instructions

  1. Fold Pretty Peacock card stock (5 1/2" x 8 1/2") in half to form card base.
  2. Stamp flower and leaf images on a piece of Whisper White card stock (4" x 2 1/2").  I stamped on flower image full strength using Terracotta Tile ink and then stamped a second image without re-inking the stamp.  Cut out using the 3 1/4" x 1 3/4" Stitched Nested Die.
  3. Cut out a piece of Pink Vellum using the 2 1/16" x 2 13/16" Stitched Nested Die.
  4. Stamp 2 leave images using Pretty Peacock ink.  Punch out using Leaf Punch.
  5. Stamp sentiment on a 1 1/2" x 2" piece of Whisper White card stock using Pretty Peacock in. Cut points on both ends.
  6. Emboss a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Terracotta Tile card stock
  7. Wrap a 5" piece of Petal Pink ribbon around the embossed card stock and adhere with Snail.
  8. Adhere to card base using Snail.
  9. Adhere Vellum piece using Snail.
  10. Adhere leaf images to the stamped flower piece using Snail
  11. Adhere on top of the Vellum piece using Dimensionals.
  12. Adhere the sentiment over the ribbon using Dimensionals.

Daisy Lane

I love the fern that is part of the Daisy Lane stampset and I love how clean and simple my card is.  This card is perfect for the beginner stamper!  

 I chose Shaded Spruce and Crumb Cake for this card - love this combination.


 Wouldn't you love to get this card in the mail? I know I would.

 The inside of the card is equally clean and simple.


Instructions

  1. Cut a piece of Shaded Spruce card stock 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and fold in half to form card base
  2. Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock 5" x 3 3/4".
  3. Stamp 3 of the fern images in Shaded Spruce ink.  (TIP:  I stamped the middle image first at roughly 2 1/2" from the left ed and about 1/4" from the top.  I used my Grid Paper to line up the card and measure the middle).
  4. Stamp the sentiment on the bottom right corner
  5. Cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock 4" x 5 1/4".
  6. Adhere stamped piece to the Crumb Cake piece using Snail
  7. Adhere to the card base using Snail.
  8. Stamp the sentiment and fern on a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock.
  9. Adhere to the inside of the card

Over the Moon with Over the Moon!

OMG, isn't the Over The Moon stampset the most adorable!  Every time I look at these cows I have to smile.  I just had to get buy the stampset when I saw it.

 Check out todays card.

I used Designer Series Paper from the Come Sail Away suite for the background and coloured my cow using Stampin' Blends!  A pop of Daffodil Delight on his boots and he's all set to go!

Instructions

  1. Cut a piece of Night of Navy card stock 4 1/4" x 11" and fold in half to make a card base.
  2. Stamp the cow image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a 4" x 3" piece of Whisper White cardstock.
  3. Colour the image using Dark Basic Black, Dark Petal Pink, Dark Flirty Flamingo, Light Call Me Clover and Dark Daffodil Delight.
  4. Cut out using the 3 1/2" x 2 1/4" Framelit from the Stitched Rectangle Framelits
  5. Cut a 3 5/8" x 2 3/8" piece of Daffodil Delight card stock.  
  6. Adhere the stamped image to the Daffodil Delight card stock using Snail.
  7. Cut a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper.
  8. Adhere the stamped image to the Designer Series Paper using Dimensionals.
  9. Adhere to the card base using Snail
  10. Stamp the cow image on a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock.  Colour flower using Dark Flirty Flamingo. 
  11. Adhere to the inside of the card.

Stampin' Up Annual Catalogue

The new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue is here!  I'm so excited to share it with you.  I love everything about this catalogue and I know you will too!  I'm sure I've said this before about previous catalogues :)

 You can check out the catalogue online by clicking here.

 There are five new in colours in the new catalogue.  We've said good-bye to 5 from the past two years, but now we have 5 new yummy colours to enjoy.  I've already been playing with the In Colours and I think one of my favourite combinations is Terracotta Tile and Pretty Peacock!

Unfortunately Purple Posy isn't available as an inked at this point in time due to a quality issue but you can still order the cardstock, ribbon and Stampin' Blends.  Once the issue is fixed, it will be available to be ordered.

 You'll see some changes with the format of the new catalogue.  

  • You can buy everything in any of the Product Suites using a single item code - I know I loved everything in the Bird Ballad Suite and Come Sail Away Suite so those codes came in handy!
  • All of the bundles which save you 10% are list at the beginning of the catalogue
  • Throughout the catalogue you will find references to other page numbers where you can find more information (or a bigger picture) about a product.

Come Sail Away

My husband and I spend our summers sailing the Southern Gulf Islands of British Columbia in our sailboat.  When I saw the "Come Sail Away" stamp set and coordinating dies in the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue, I knew I had to have this set.  I wasn't disappointed when I started to play!

 Check out my card featuring the stampset, dies, Designer Series Paper, Sail Away Trinkets and Baker's Twine. Love, Love, Love this suite of products!

Instructions

  1. Cut Night of Navy card stock to 4 1/4" x 11" and fold in half to make card base.
  2. Cut Designer Series Paper 4" x 2" in one pattern and 4" x 3 1/4" in another pattern.  Adhere these to the card base using Snail.
  3. Stamp the sailboat in Night of Navy ink and the sentiment in Balmy Blue on Whisper White cardstock.  Cut out with dies.
  4. Stamp birds on the sentiment piece in Sahara Sand.
  5. Cut out a piece of rope using die from Night of Navy cardstock.  Adhere across join of Designer Series Paper using Snail.
  6. Adhere sentiment using Dimensionals
  7. Adhere sailboat using Dimensionals
  8. Tie a piece of twine through anchor embellishment and adhere to sentiment piece using a Glue Dot.
  9. Stamp sentiment for inside on a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Whisper White cardstock.
  10. Stamp sailboat in Night of Navy.
  11. Adhere to inside of card base.
