Daisy Lane and Daisy Delight - the perfect double combination

Daisy Lane and Daisy Delight are a perfect combination - two stamp sets that coordinate with the Daisy Punch. I've combined them together in today's card using one of my favourite colours - Poppy Parade.

Instructions

Cut Poppy Parade cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and fold in half to form card base.
Cut Basic Black cardstock 4" x 5 1/4" - adhere to card base using Snail
Stamp 2 large daisies from Daisy Delight using Poppy Parade ink. and 2 large daisies from Daisy Lane using Flirty Flamingo ink.
Punch the 4 daisies out using Daisy Punch.
Adhere one daisy on top of the other in each colour (with petals off centre for the top one) using a Dimensional
Cut a 1" x 4" piece of Whisper White cardstock. Stamp sentiment in Poppy Parade
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
Adhere daisies to card base using Snail
Adhere a Clear Faceted Gem to each daisy in the centre
Cut Whisper White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp daisy twice on bottom right (slightly off card) using Poppy Parade ink. Stamp first daisy and then turn stamp slightly before stamping the second daisy

The Wildly Happy stamp set makes me smile every time I use it. Today's card features the curled up foxes from the set. I have to admit that this card isn't exactly what I planned, but that is often the way. I had planned to colour the foxes using the Stampin' Blends and cut them out and use some water colouring behind them. I ended up with spatters by accident - this time a happy accident.

Instructions

Cut Early Espresso cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and fold in half to make card base
Cut Cajun Craze cardstock 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to card base using Snail
Stamp foxes using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Colour using Soft Suede Stampin' Blends
Cut out using Paper Snips
Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
Mix 2-3 drops of Cajun Craze reinker with a few drops of water from Aqua Painter. Paint lightly on bottom right of Whisper White cardstock.
Mix 2-3 drops of Early Espresso reinker with a few drops of water from Aqua Painter. Pick up some ink with Aqua Painter and hold about 12" about card and tap on end of finger to create splatters.
Take 2 - 4" pieces of Linen Trim and pull gently apart with fingers.
Adhere over water colouring using Snail
Adhere coloured foxes over top using Dimensionals
Stamp sentiment on top left using Cajun Craze ink
Stamp inside of card with sentiment and add spatters.

I created this sampler using the Bird Ballad Product Suite. I just love how it turned out. We'll be making the sampler in my class on July 6th. Are you interested in joining us? Email me to reserve your spot.

The sampler is designed to be framed in a 12" x 12" frame. It's hanging in a very prominent spot in my craft room!
