I received today's card from Ginette Dodd in a swap I participated in at Stampin' OnStage in April. I love the colours she used - Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight and the combination with the gold foil sheets for the dragonflies.

Ginette has used the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set and coordinating dies as well as the Artisan Textures stampset. All of these products are retiring at the end of May so if it is on your Wishlist, you want to order them before they are gone!

For the next few weeks I'm featuring stamp sets and other products that will be retiring at the end of May.

Today, I've used the Petal Palette stamp set and coordinating Framelits. Isn't this pretty in Blushing Bride and Mint Macaron!

A little bit of Wink of Stella on the flowers adds a little bit of bling!

I'm very sad that this stamp set is retiring when the new Annual Catalogue is released in June. Now is the time to get yours if it is gone!

Here's the instructions so that you can make this card for your self.

Instructions

Score and fold Fresh Fig cardstock (4 1/4" x 11") in half to form card base.
Run 2" x 5" piece of Blushing Bride card stock through Big Shot using Petal Pair embossing folder - run through once and then move the embossing folder over and run through again.
Adhere a 2" x 5" piece of Tropical Escape Designer Series Paper to the right side of a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock using Snail.
Adhere embossing piece to the left side of the Whisper White piece overlapping the Designer Series Paper.
Stamp the flowers using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and cut out using Framelits and Big Shot.
Colour with Stampin' Blends
Cut out the stems using Big Shot and Mint Macaron card stock
Adhere a piece of ribbon around Whisper White card stock using Snail.
Adhere stems using Snail
Adhere coloured flowers using Dimensionals
Adhere to card base.
Stamp sentiment on a 3/4" x 3" piece of Whisper White card stock
Cut out flag from left end
Adhere to card base.
Colour flowers with Wink of Stella

For the next few weeks I'm featuring stamp sets and other products that will be retiring at the end of May.

Today, I've used the Best Birds stamp set. I love to colour so I used the Stampin' Blends to colour in this sweet little bird as well as the Pearlized Doily. You can colour on the back side of the doily with the Stampin' Blends to coordinate perfectly with your card. In this case I used Granny Apple Green.

A little bit of Wink of Stella on the bird adds a little bit of bling!

Instructions

Cut Thick Whisper White card stock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score in half to make card base.
Cut a piece of Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper - I used the Vellum to 3" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the card base using Snail.
Stamp the bird image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
Colour the bird image using Crumb Cake, Flirty Flamingo and Mango Melody Stampin' Blends. (TIP - I always start with the lightest colour, in this case Light Crumb Cake and colour the whole image. Then go in and add darker colours and go over them to blend with the Light colour again).
Cut out using the coordinating bird Framelits using your Big Shot.
Colour the back side of the Pearlized Doily using the dark Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blend.
Adhere to the card base using Snail.
Adhere bird image using Dimensionals.
Stamp the sentiment using Fresh Fig ink on a 3 1/4" x 1/2" piece of Whisper White card stock.
Adhere to a 3 1/2" x 3/4" piece of Fresh Fig card stock.
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
Adhere pink flower embellishment.

Today I'm sharing a card I received in a swap I participated in with fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrators. This beautiful card was made by Jenn Tinline and features the All That You Are stampset.

I love the colours Jenn chose to colour the flower with. She's used the Stampin' Blends to perfectly coordinate with the Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Petal Pink/Whisper White Variegated Ribbon. Soooo Pretty!

It's hard to see in the picture, but Jenn has used Wink of Stella on the flower to give it some extra bling!

This stampset is retiring at the end of May so if it is on your Wishlist, you want to order it before it's gone!

It is sad that after all of this time, Lovely as a Tree is retiring when the new catalogue comes out in June. I think it has been in the Stampin' Up! catalogue since the very beginning - that means over 30 years!

Today my card features the Lovely as a Tree stampset as well as the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper and Tranquil Tide card stock. Both of these papers are retiring - if you love these as well as the In Colours - Tranquil Tide, Berry Burst, Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist and Powder Pink - get them before they are gone!

I paired the stampset with the Stitched Labels Framelits. Anything stitched is so on trend these days and thankfully, this set of Framelits is not retiring!

Here's the instructions so that you can make this card for yourself.

Instructions

Cut Tranquil Tide card stock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score in half to make card base.
Stamp tree image in Soft Suede ink on a 4"x 4" piece of Whisper White card stock.
Stamp sentiment on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock
Cut both of these images out using Stitched Labels Framelits and a Big Shot
Adhere the tree image to the card front using Dimensionals
Wrap a piece of Tranquil Tide ribbon around a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Wood Textures Designer Series paper and adhere on back side with Snail.
Adhere to the card base using Snail
Adhere the sentiment over the ribbon using Dimensionals.
