Can you CASE it Friday - Heartfelt Blooms

Today's CASE'd (Copy and Share Everything) card features a stampset from the Sale-a-Bration brochure "Heartfelt Blooms.

When I first saw this stamp, I wasn't sure about it, but the more I've seen and the more I've played with it, I've decided that it is one of those "must have" stamps.  Every time I use it my response is the same "Wow!"  When you look at the stamp, you don't expect the detail that it gives when you stamp.  In fact, this is a new type of stamp for Stampin' Up!  At the Stampin' Up! Onstage event in Salt Lake City, we learned the this type of stamp is called "Distinktive" and lays down ink at different opacities giving the image more depth.  They have a patent on the technology so I expect we'll see more stamp sets like this in future catalogues.  I can't wait!

Here's the card I CASE'd from page 5 of the Sale-a-Bration Brochure.

Now, here's my card.  I changed it up a bit.  It's so easy to add colour to the stamp.  I stamped in Basic Grey and then sponged over the flowers with different colours.  The back ground is stamped in Smoky Slate.
