Here's our amazing Creativity Abounds Design Team!

We've welcomed two new members this month - Heather Thomas from the UK and Maheswari Rajaguru from Australia as Narelle and Margriet decided to step away (at least for now).  I know you are going to love their projects!

This month we're sharing projects featuring the Simply Elegant Product Suite.  I have to admit that this suite wasn't on my radar, but as soon as I started to see the amazing projects that were being created I had to have it!  

I created a simple fancy fold and tried to make the beautiful Designer Series Paper the star of the card!


Instructions

  1. Cut Basic Gray cardstock 7 3/4" x 5 1/2" and score at 4 1/4".  Fold on score line to create card base.
  2. Cut Very Vanilla cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
  3. Cut Designer Series Paper 3/4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the left hand side of Very Vanilla piece using Stampin' Seal.
  4. Adhere to the inside of the card base using Stampin' Seal. 
  5. Cut Very Vanilla cardstock 3 1/4" x 5 1/4"
  6. Stamp flower using Basic Gray ink on the top
  7. Cut Designer Series Paper 3 1/4" x 2 1/2" and adhere to the bottom of the piece using Stampin' Seal.
  8. Wrap gold trim around 3 times and adhere to the back with Dimensionals.
  9. Adhere the piece to the card base using Dimensionals.
  10. Stamp sentiment on a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock using Basic Gray ink.
  11. Punch out with Double Oval Punch using smallest oval.
  12. Punch out scalloped oval from Basic Gray cardstock.
  13. Adhere sentiment to scalloped oval using Dimensionals.
  14. Adhere to card base over the trim using Dimensionals.
