Art In Bloom Pocket Card - International Blog Highlights

I'm excited to participate again in Kylie's Monthly International Blog Highlights for July! The theme is "Thank You".  I created this beautiful card featuring the Art In Bloom Bundle.  Who wouldn't want to get this thank you card in the mail!  It is definitely a WOW card!

Instructions (watch my YouTube video for tips and tricks for making this card).

  1. Cut Misty Moonlight cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4".  Fold on the score line to create the card base.
  2. Make a mark along the 5 1/2" side at 2 3/4" and along both 8 1/2" sides at 2 3/4"
  3. Score from the mark on the 5 1/2" side to the 2 3/4" mark on the 8 1/2" side.  Repeat on the other side.
  4. Fold the flaps upwards to create pocket.
  5. Cut Designer Series Paper 3 1/2" x 3 1/2".  Cut in half on the diagonal.
  6. Adhere the triangle piece of DSP to the V on the card base using Stampin' Seal.
  7. Cut 6" of ribbon and adhere along the edge of the DSP and pocket.  Trim.
  8. Cut the remaining triangle of DSP in half to form 2 additional triangles.
  9. Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4".
  10. Adhere the 2 DSP triangles to the bottom left and right corners to fill in the opening formed by the pocket fold.
  11. Cut Window Sheet 3" x 1 1/2" and adhere to the top left hand side of card base using Stampin' Seal.
  12. Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock and cut out using Ticket Die.
  13. Adhere to the Window Sheet piece using Stampin' Seal.  Trim off excess Window Sheet if necessary.
  14. Cut out flowers using Art in Bloom Dies and Embossing Folder from Pale Papaya Shimmery Vellum cardstock and Vellum Cardstock.
  15. Cut out leaves from Soft Succulent Shimmery Vellum using Dies.
  16. Cut out flower centres from Pale Papaya Shimmery Vellum using Dies.
  17. Adhere flowers to top of card base using Dimensionals.
  18. Adhere flower centres using Glue Dots
  19. Adhere leaves behind flowers using Glue Dots
  20. Adhere Ephemera behind flowers using Glue Dots.
  21. Cut 14" ribbon and cut in half.  Create bow (see video) and adhere with a Glue Dot
  22. Adhere Genial Gems to flower centres
