Happy Fathers Day - Gone Fishing

It's Father's Day in North America. Happy Father's Day to all of the fathers out there. I created this fun back fold card using the Stampin' Up! Let's Go Fishing Suite. I first saw this card from my friend Sharon Burkert but more recently Patty Bennett also posted a card that used this fold. I love how this turned out in Mossy Meadow and Wild Wheat.

If you've got someone in your family and friends who fishes, then this suite has to be on your wish list!

Instructions

Cut Mossy Meadow cardstock 5 1/2" x 7 1/2" and score at 3 1/4" and 6 1/2".
Fold and burnish on 3 1/4" scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base. Leave the 6 1/2" scoreline for now.
Emboss the front of the card using the Twisted Rope Embossing Folder
Cut Designer Series Paper 3/4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the right side of the inside of the card.
Cut Basic White cardstock 3" x 5 1/4"
Cut Designer Series Paper 1/2" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the left side of Basic White cardstock
Adhere to the inside of the card
Cut out circle from Mossy Meadow cardstock using largest Stylish Shape die
Punch out 2 3/8" circle from Wild Wheat cardstock
Adhere Wild Wheat circle to Mossy Meadow cardstock
Stamp 4 fishing tackle images using Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Basic White cardstock
Colour using Stampin' Blends - Mossy Meadow, Wild Wheat, Misty Moonlight
Cut out using Dies
Cut out other tackle using dies from Wild Wheat cardstock and Mossy Meadow cardstock
Adhere to circle using Glue Dots and Dimensionals
Tie a small bow from Linen Thread and adhere to top of float image
Adhere 3 Dimensionals in a row on the right flap of the card and adhere the circle.
Fold gently back and insert front of the card behind circle
Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Wild Wheat ink
Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere to front of card using Dimensionals
Adhere embellishments
Adhere small die cut using Glue Dots

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon or embossing folder. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
