Stamping With Friends Blog Hop - Fun Fold Accordion Card

Today I'm hopping with my friends in the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop sharing Accordion Fun Fold projects. I love to make fancy folds or fun folds so this Blog Hop was right up my alley!

The Stampin' Up! Earthen Textures Bundle and the stunning Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper has been on my craft table and was the perfect suite to show of this fold. I love how the card turned out! Wow, who wouldn't want this card in their mailbox!

Isn't it gorgeous in Copper Clay and Gold!

Instructions

Cut Copper Clay cardstock 5 1/2" x 11" and score at 1 1/4", 4" and 6 3/4". Fold in a valley, mountain, valley configuration starting at the 1 1/4" score line. Burnish scorelines using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Designer Series Paper (Pattern 1) 1" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the first flap
Cut Designer Series Paper (Pattern 2) 2 1/2" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the front of the 2nd flap
Cut Basic White cardstock 2 1/2" x 5 1/4"
Stamp stems in bottom right corner using Copper Clay ink
Adhere to the back of the second flap
Cut Designer Series Paper (Pattern 1) 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the last flap
Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Copper Clay ink
Cut into 2 pieces and adhere to back flap so it shows when card is folded closed using Dimensionals
Cut Belly Band 1" x 10 1/2"
Fold around closed card (not too tight) and adhere with seam in the front.
Cut out 4 "XX" shaped die cuts using Die from Designer Series Paper
Adhere to the front of the belly band
Stamp large vase and stems on Basic White cardstock using Copper Clay ink
Cut out using Dies
Cut out large leaf from Distressed Gold Specialty Paper using Die
Cut out small frond from Copper Clay cardstock using Die
Adhere stem, gold leaf and front behind card using Glue Dots
Wrap gold ribbon around hand 2-3 times.
Remove from hand and pinch in the middle
Adhere to the belly band
Adhere vase and stems over ribbon using Dimensionals
Adhere copper sequins

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon or embossing folder.
