I'm back with another casual card for the Casually Crafting Blog Hop. We're a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators that love to stamp and love to share. We share card and projects that are simple and easy to create with a few products and are perfect for the beginner and casual stamper. Our blog hop goes live on the third Saturday of each month. I hope you'll join us and "hop" around our group to be inspired!

This month we were challenged to create a project using 3 bright and cheery colours - Parakeet Party, Coastal Cabana and Flirty Flamingo! Wow, so summery!

Check out this fun card. Who wouldn't love a Coastal Cabana Typewriter! Do you remember typewriters? I do! I took typing in school from Grade 7 onwards! Came in handy for sure!

I coloured the sentiment stamp using Stampin' Write Markers - this is a great technique where you want to have different letters in a sentiment a different colour. Just remember to "huff" on the stamp before stamping!

Instructions

Cut Parakeet Party cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Coastal Cabana cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Flirty Flamingo cardstock 3 3/8" x 4 1/8"
Cut Basic White cardstock 3 1/4" x 4"
Stamp typewriter using Coastal Cabana ink on Basic White cardstock
Colour "hello" sentiment using Parakeet Party, Coastal Cabana and Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Write Markers using the brush end. Huff on the stamp
Stamp on the Basic White cardstock
Adhere the Basic White cardstock to the Flirty Flamingo cardstock
Adhere to the Coastal Cabana cardstock
Adhere to the card base
Adhere Ombre Dots
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp sentiment in middle of cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink
Colour rainbow using Parakeet Party, Coastal Cabana and Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Write Markers using the brush end. Huff on the stamp
Stamp on the Basic White cardstock
Adhere to the inside of the card

Monthly Card Club

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
