Cheerful Daisies You Made My Day

The Fresh as a Daisy Suite is my favourite from the catalogue. I've made so many cards with it! Last weekend the Creativity Abounds Design Team held a Stamp Camp with participants from around the world. We used the Fresh as a Daisy Suite.

During the Stamp Camp we share challenges - this card was created as part of a Tic Tac Toe Challenge. The line I chose included flowers, gems and heat embossing. Check out this pretty card. I love the new Nested Essentials Dies as a background or base for the focal point of the card.

Can you see my heat embossing? I stamped the flowers using Daffodil Delight and Pebbled Path ink and then inked over top with Versamark. Sprinkled Clear Embossing Powder and then heated to melt. It's an easy way to get heat embossed colour when we don't have the matching colour of embossing powder! I show this technique in my YouTube Video. Check it out.

Instructions

Cut Pebbled Path cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Daffodil Delight cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Designer Series Paper 3 3/4" x 5"
Adhere Designer Series Paper to Daffodil Delight cardstock
Adhere to the card base
Cut out largest rounded corner rectangle from Pebbled Path cardstock using Nested Essentials Dies
Stamp one large daisy and 2 medium daisies using Daffodil Delight ink on Basic White cardstock
Stamp centre of flowers using Pebbled Path ink
Stamp over all images using Versamark ink
Sprinkle with Clear Embossing Powder
Heat to melt using Heat Tool.
Let dry then cut out using Dies
Wrap White Bakers Twine around palm of hand 2-3 times. Pull off and pinch in the middle
Adhere to the centre of the rounded corner rectangle.
Adhere flowers over twine using Dimensionals.
Adhere to the card base
Cut Basic White cardstock 1/2" x 2 1/2"
Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock
Adhere to bottom of card base using Mini Dimensionals.
Adhere Wild Wheat In Color Dots
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp medium daisy in bottom right corner using Daffodil Delight ink
Stamp centre of daisy using Pebbled Path ink
Adhere to the inside of the card

Monthly Card Club
