Festive Friday Challenge #140 - World Photography Day

It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project. We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.

This week’s challenge FF #140 - World Photography Day

Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. I chose black, white and rhinestones for my card. What will you choose?

My card features the Sending Smiles Dies and the punches from the Inked & Tiled Bundle. Did you know that the 2 shapes fit together to make a pattern? It's a bit hard to see in the picture, but I've alternated the 2 shapes in black and white to create a fun background. The pop of Tahitian Tide finishes off the card! I coloured Rhinestones using Tahitian Tide Stampin' Blends to add as an embellishment.

Instructions

Cut Basic Black card stock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Punch out 6 black shape and 6 white shapes using Inked & Tiled Punches
Adhere to Basic White cardstock alternating the shapes and colours
Trim off excess around edge
Adhere to card base
Cut out "Sending" using Dies in Tahitian Tide and Basic Black cardstock
Adhere thinner black die cut to Tahitian Tide Die cut
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Stamp sentiment using Tahitian Tide ink on Basic White cardstock
Cut out using Label die
Adhere to card base using Mini Dimensionals
Colour rhinestones using Tahitian Tide Stampin' Blends
Adhere to card base
Tie a bow and adhere to card base
Punch out 2 shapes from Basic Black cardstock
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Adhere 2 shapes in bottom right corner
Adhere to inside of card.

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon or embossing folder. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
