Festive Friday Challenge #141 - National Beach Day

It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project. We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.

This week’s challenge FF #141 - National Beach Day

Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. I used Pastel Colours, Sand and Sea for my card.

I love the Oceanfront Stamp Set from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. It's so easy to create a pretty beach scene. Check out this one in Lost Lagoon, Pretty Peacock and Crumb Cake.

Instructions

Cut Lost Lagoon cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Pretty Peacock 3 3/4" x 5"
Cut Basic White cardstock 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"
Stamp sentiment on bottom of Basic White cardstock using Lost Lagoon ink
Stamp sand above sentiment using Crumb Cake ink
Stamp water above sand using Lost Lagoon ink (stamped off) and then stamp over it with Balmy Blue (stamped off)
Stamp sky above water using Lost Lagoon ink
Stamp plants beside sand using Lost Lagoon ink.
Adhere Lost Lagoon embellishments
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp plant in bottom right corner using Lost Lagoon ink
Adhere to inside of card.

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon or embossing folder. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.
