Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop - Back to School

Time for the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators around the world who participate each month to share projects we are working on. Our theme this month is "Back to School".

When I saw the sentiments in the Stampin' Up! Reach for the Stars Stamp Set, back to school and great achievements came to mind. What could be better than sending someone off to school with an astronaut reaching for the stars as inspiration! The Designer Series Paper for this suite is amazing! Check out this fun card I made in Night of Navy and Berry Burst.

Instructions

Cut Night of Navy cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Berry Burst cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Designer Series Paper 3 3/4" x 5" and adhere to Berry Burst cardstock
Adhere to card base
Stamp astronaut on Basic White cardstock using Berry Burst ink
Cut out using Die
Wrap Starry Sky and White twine around palm of hand 3-4 times. Pull off and pinch in the middle
Adhere to the card base
Adhere astronaut over twine using Dimensionals
Cut out stars from Berry Burst cardstock using Die
Adhere to card base using Glue or Glue Dots
Stamp sentiment using Night of Navy ink on Basic White cardstock
Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere to card base in bottom right corner using Dimensionals
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp sentiment in centre using Night of Navy ink
Cut out stars from Berry Burst cardstock using Die
Adhere to card base using Glue or Glue Dots
Adhere to the inside of the card.

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon or embossing folder. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
