Modern Garden Wedding Card

I was honoured to be invited to my friends Debbie and Dave's wedding yesterday. My husband and I met Debbie just after we moved to Vancouver Island. The funny thing is that we actually met her in Mexico. Who would have thought that you would meet someone in the pool that lived very close to you. Well, we did and we had such fun that week and we've stayed friends since. I wish her and Dave all the happiness in the world!

I used the Modern Garden stamp set and gorgeous Garden Walk Designer Series Paper. It combines my two favourite colours Poppy Parade and Wild Wheat! Isn't this pretty!

Instructions

Cut Poppy Parade cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Designer Series Paper 3 3/4" x 5" and adhere to card base.
Cut Wild Wheat cardstock 2" x 3 3/4"
Emboss using the Exposed Brick Embossing Folder
Adhere to card base about 3/4" from bottom of Designer Series Paper
Wrap braided trim around card base and tie a bow on left side
Punch out Wild Wheat cardstock
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Stamp sentiment on Poppy Parade cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Cut out into 3 sections
Adhere to punched shape using Dimensionals
Adhere Gold Embellishments
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Designer Series Paper 3/4" x 5 1/4"
Adhere to left side of Basic White cardtock
Stamp flower in bottom right corner using Wild Wheat ink
Stamp middle of flower using Poppy Parade ink
Adhere to the inside of the card.

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon or embossing folder. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 3 people per class and masks will be mandatory (as well as any other requirements announced by the Provincial Health Officer).
