Stamping With Friends - Balcony Card

Today I'm hopping with the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop. We're sharing Balcony Cards for this hop. This fancy fold is so fun and such a surprise when you open it! And it's not as hard as it looks to make!

In my video for this card I talk about different ways to do splattering. I used Stampin' Blends to splatter this card.

Instructions

Cut Basic Black cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base
Cut Lemon Lime Twist cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Basic White cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
Emboss using the Merry Melody Embossing Folder
Splatter using the Basic Black Dark Stampin' Blends
Adhere to the card base.
Cut 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4"
Adhere to both sides of the inside of the card.
Cut Basic Black cardstock 1 1/2" x 7 1/2" and score at 1/2" 3 3/4" and 7"
Fold in half on the 3 3/4" scoreline and burnish. Fold the 1/2" flaps backwards.
Cut 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper 1 1/4" x 3"
Adhere to the middle sections of the Basic Black cardstock
Cut Basic Black cardstock 2 1/2" x 5 1/2" and score at 1/2", 2 3/4" and 5"
Fold in half on the 2 3/4" scoreline and burnish. Fold the 1/2" flaps backwards.
Cut 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper 2 1/4" x 2"
Adhere to the middle sections of the Basic Black cardstock
Adhere the flaps of the wider piece to the card base so that the scorelines are aligned and the bottoms are aligned
Adhere the flaps of the narrower piece to the card base so that the scorelines are aligned and the bottoms are aligned
Cut critters from Designer Series Paper using Paper Snips or Dies
Adhere to the Basic Black pieces
Cut Basic Black cardstock 1 1/4" x 11"
Wrap around card base and adhere ends together
Cut Designer Series Paper 1" x 4"
Adhere to Belly Band
Cut out critter using Die or Paper Snips
Adhere to the Belly Band
Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Cut out using Paper Snips
Cut 9" of ribbon and zig zag behind sentiment
Adhere to the Belly Band
