Stampin' Dreams - January 2023 - Love is in the Air

Time for the Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators around the world who participate each month to share projects we are working on. Our theme this month is "Love is in the Air". I decided to make a wedding card using the Everyday Details Bundle and the gorgeous Flight & Airy Designer Series Paper.

This Designer Series Paper is stunning! I absolutely love the colours - who knew I'd fall in love with Bubble Bath and Boho Blue as a colour combination! I made this card on a recent sketch challenge. You can join me on Tuesdays at 2pm Pacific for a new sketch each week to use as inspiration.

Instructions

Cut Boho Blue cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4"
Adhere Designer Series Paper to card base.
Cut Bubble Bath cardstock 1 1/2" x 4"
Adhere to middle of card base.
Stamp nest on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink
Colour using Stampin' Blends - Lost Lagoon for leaves, Pecan Pie for nest.
Colour the shaded part of eggs with Boho Blue Stampin' Blend
Apply Wink of Stella to eggs
Colour over Wink of Stella with Light Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends.
Cut out using Paper Snips
Cut circle from Boho Blue cardstock using second largest Everyday Details Die
Cut 9" of ribbon and zig zag over circle
Adhere nest over ribbon using Stampin' Blends
Adhere to right side of card base
Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Adhere embellishments
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp "dot" image in bottom right corner 3 times.
Adhere to the inside of the card

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon or embossing folder. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.
