Today I'm hopping with the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop. Our theme for this hop is Birthdays! It's a great theme as we always need birthday cards, right!

I used the Everyday Details on this pretty card along with the Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper. You may have missed the Everyday Details Bundle in the Stampin' Up! January to April Mini Catalogue - it wasn't one I first noticed except for the dies which are amazing! The Stamp Set is eclectic and has some pretty images! Perfect for a birthday card!

I created this card on a recent sketch challenge. Here's the sketch I used. Come join me each Tuesday for a new sketch!

Now, here's the card I created. I love how it turned out!

Instructions

Cut Gorgeous Grape cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4"
Adhere to card base.
Cut Gorgeous Grape cardstock 2 1/2" x 4"
Cut frame and middle section using 2 largest rectangle dies from Everyday Detail Dies
Adhere to the card base
Cut circle from Crumb Cake cardstock using 2nd largest die
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Stamp tea cup image on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Colour with Stampin' Blends - Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather, Orchid Oasis, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive
Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Wrap Linen Thread around hand 2-3 times. Pinch in middle and remove
Adhere to left side of rectangle
Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Gorgeous Grape Ink
Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere over Linen Thread using Dimensionals
Adhere Purple Shimmer Gems
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Stamp dots in bottom right corner using Gorgeous Grape ink
Adhere to inside of card.

Techniques Across the Border

Join Lorraine and I and learn (or learn more) about a new technique each month. Our class will be held via Zoom on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 9:30am to 11:30am Pacific. We will explore the technique and make 4 projects in each class.

There are 2 options for each class:

Option 1 - Class Cost $45 and includes 4 projects and a selection of supplies you need to make the projects

Registration for each class closes on the last Wednesday of the month.

If you can't join the class live, you will get a copy of the recorded video.

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon or embossing folder. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.
