Festive Friday Challenge - International Women's Day

It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project. We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.

This week’s challenge FF #153 - International Women's Day

Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. I used blue, white, and any shape other than rectangle for my project. I love to make desk calendars for my family, friends and customers. Check out this pretty one that is going to sit on my desk for the rest of the year! It was fun colouring the hummingbird with my Blends. The Deckled Circle is a perfect layer for the calendar!

It folds flat and fits in a standard envelope for mailing!

Instructions

Cut Pebbled Path cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scorelines in mountain/mountain configuration.
Cut Designer Series Paper 2 1/2" x 4" and adhere to bottom flap of card base.
Cut Designer Series Paper 4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to inside of card.
Cut circle from Pebbled Path cardstock using 3 1/2" Deckled Circle Die
Cut Boho Blue cardstock 2 1/2" x 3 1/4"
Adhere calendar to Boho Blue cardstock
Adhere to circle using Tear and Tape adhesive.
Adhere Deckled Circle to bottom flap of card bae.
Stamp image on Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Colour using Stampin' Blends - Pebbled Path, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight and Boho Blue.
Cut out using Die
Adhere to top of circle using a Dimensional.
Adhere Boho Blue Dots
Cut Boho Blue cardstock 1" x 4"
Cut Basic White cardstock 3/4" x 3 3/4"
Stamp sentiment on Basic White cardstock using Boho Blue ink
Cut banner end in both ends of Boho Blue and Basic White cardstock
Adhere sentiment to Boho Blue cardstock using Dimensionals
Adhere to the inside of the card so that it holds the calendar upright.

Techniques Across the Border

Join Lorraine and I and learn (or learn more) about a new technique each month. Our class will be held via Zoom on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 9:30am to 11:30am Pacific. We will explore the technique and make 4 projects in each class.

There are 2 options for each class:

Option 1 - Class Cost $45 and includes 4 projects and a selection of supplies you need to make the projects

Registration for each class closes on the last Wednesday of the month.

If you can't join the class live, you will get a copy of the recorded video.

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature. You will make 3 cards with envelopes and receive 1/2 package of Designer Series Paper, package of Embellishments and a roll of ribbon or embossing folder. Cost is $45 In Person (or local pick up) and $50 mailed.
