Faux Step Card - Hot Air Balloon

I've been having so much fun with the Hot Air Balloon Bundle and the coordinating products from the Lighter than Air Suite. One of my favourite fun folds is the Faux Step Fold Card. I always struggle with cutting and scoring a single sheet of cardstock to make one of these cards so the faux step card method is perform for me!

Instructions

Cut Pool Party cardstock 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 1", 2" and 6 1/2". Fold in mountain, valley, mountain configuration on scorelines using Bone Folder to form main card base
Cut Pool Party cardstock 2 3/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form smaller card base
Cut Designer Series Paper Pattern 1 - 4" x 4 1/4" and adhere to large section of main card base.
Cut Designer Series Paper Pattern 2 - 3/4" x 4" and adhere to the first flap on main card base.
Cut Designer Series Paper Pattern 1 - 2 1/2" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the smaller card base.
Adhere the smaller card base to the main card base - adhere front to the small flap and back to the back to the back of the main card base.
Cut out 2 balloons from Designer Series Paper using Paper Snips
Adhere to the card base using Dimensionals
Cut banner from Basic White cardstock using Die
Stamp sentiment using Pool Party ink
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Adhere Pool Party Dots
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 4 1/4"
Stamp sentiment using Pool Party ink
Adhere to inside of card.

Techniques Across the Border

Join Lorraine and I and learn (or learn more) about a new technique each month. Our class will be held via Zoom on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 9:30am to 11:30am Pacific. We will explore the technique and make 4 projects in each class.

There are 2 options for each class:

Option 1 - Class Cost $45 and includes 4 projects and a selection of supplies you need to make the projects

Option 2 - If you have the products for the technique - Class Cost FREE with an order of at least $45 before shipping and taxes

Registration for each class closes on the last Wednesday of the month.

If you can't join the class live, you will get a copy of the recorded video.

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 4 people per class.
