Today I'm hopping with the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop. The theme for this hop is "Blogger's Choice". I decided to share a card using a sketch that was inspired by a card I made at Onstage After Hours in Rotterdam. I used the Sweetly Scripted stampset on my card - an Online Exclusive as well as a new set of Embossing Folders that are a sneak peek from the new Annual Catalogue.

Isn't this pretty in Fresh Freesia, Bubble Bath and Gorgeous Grape.

Here's the sketch I used.

Instructions

Cut Thick Basic White cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" cardstock and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
Cut 3 pieces of cardstock - Fresh Freesia, Gorgeous Grape and Bubble Bath - 1 1/2" x 4"
Emboss each using Embossing Folder
Adhere to the card base
Cut Basic White cardstock 3/4" x 5"
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
Cut Fresh Freesia 1/2" x 4"
Stamp sentiment using Gorgeous Grape ink
Adhere to card base at an angle using Dimensionals
Tie a small bow using Orchid Oasis Metallic Trim
Adhere to card base
Adhere embellishments

Techniques Across the Border

Join Lorraine and I and learn (or learn more) about a new technique each month. Our class will be held via Zoom on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 9:30am to 11:30am Pacific. We will explore the technique and make 4 projects in each class.

There are 2 options for each class:

Registration for each class closes on the last Wednesday of the month.

If you can't join the class live, you will get a copy of the recorded video.

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 4 people per class.
