Stamping With Friends Blog Hop - Pocket Cards

Today I'm hopping with the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop. The theme for this hop is "Pocket Cards". I created this fun origami fold double pocket card using the products in the Flowering Zinnia Suite - Online Exclusives from Stampin' Up! So easy and no adhesive needed!

Isn't this pretty and a perfect way to send someone a little something in a card!

Instructions

Cut Designer Series Paper 8 1/2" x 11" and score in half in both directions. Gently burnish scorelines using Bone Folder
Fold out to full size.
Fold top left corner in towards middle aligning with centre scoreline
Fold bottom right corner in towards middle aligning with centre scoreline
Fold bottom up to top on middle scoreline
Fold in half on lengthwise scoreline to form card base.
Cut 2 pieces of Basic White cardstock to 4" x 5 1/4"
Emboss both using Zinnia Embossing Folder
For the front of the card, measure up 1 1/4" from bottom on right side of embossed card stock
Cut from that mark to the top left corner on the diagonal
Adhere the piece to the bottom of the pocket
Cut Basic White cardstock 1" x 3 1/4"
Stamp sentiment using Gorgeous Grape ink
Cut Gorgeous Grape cardstock 1 1/4" x 3 1/2"
Adhere sentiment to Gorgeous Grape cardstock using Dimensionals
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Stamp flower on Basic White cardstock using Gorgeous Grape Ink
Colour with Highland Heather and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals
Adhere Shiny Sequins
Cut Gorgeous Grape cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Trim second piece of embossed cardstock to 3 3/4" x 5"
Adhere to Gorgeous Grape cardstock
Tuck into inside pocket

Techniques Across the Border

Join Lorraine and I and learn (or learn more) about a new technique each month. Our class will be held via Zoom on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 9:30am to 11:30am Pacific. We will explore the technique and make 4 projects in each class.

There are 2 options for each class:

You need Embossing Powder and Versamark for this class - Class Cost FREE with an order of at least $45 before shipping and taxes

Registration for each class closes on the last Wednesday of the month.

If you can't join the class live, you will get a copy of the recorded video.

Monthly Card Club

I'm excited to be offering a Monthly Card Club either In Person or by mail. Each month I will select a stamp set or bundle to feature.

The In Person classes will be held on the last Sunday of each month from 10am to 12noon or 1-3pm. Space will be limited to 4 people per class.
