Time for a Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop. This month we're sharing projects with a "Congratulations Graduate!" theme. I decided to pull out the Party Alphabet Dies from the Stampin' Up!® Annual Catalogue for this slimline card.

My great niece graduated from high school this year (yes, it makes me feel old!) and the Shy Shamrock Twine matches her school colours so was perfect for the tassel. I hope she likes the card even though it's a little late!

Instructions

Cut Basic Black cardstock 7" x 8 1/2" and score at 3 1/2" along short side. Fold on scoreline and burnish with a Bone Folder to form the card base.
Cut Basic White cardstock 3 1/4" x 8 1/4"
Cut Basic Black cardstock 3" x 8" and adhere Adhesive Foam Sheets to the back.
Cut out "GRAD" from Basic Black cardstock using dies
Adhere to the right side of the Basic White cardstock about 1/2" from bottom
Cut Basic White cardstock 1/2" x 4"
Stamp "congratulations" on Basic White using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
Cut banner end in right end.
Cut Basic Black cardstock 5/8" x 4 1/4"
Cut banner end in right end.
Adhere the sentiment to the Basic Black banner
Make a tassel from Twine and adhere under sentiment.
Adhere sentiment to the card base.
Adhere Sparkle Gems
Cut Basic White cardstock 3 1/4" x 8 1/4"
Cut Basic Black cardstock 1/2" x 3 1/4"
Adhere to the right side of the Basic White cardstock
Adhere to the inside of the card
