Festive Friday Challenge # 196 - Remembrance Day

It's time for another Festive Friday Challenge! Every second Friday we post a challenge for you with a specific theme and an Inspo List of 10 items to choose from to create your project. We encourage you to create a project based on the theme and Inspo List and then post it using at least 3 items from the inspiration list.

Your goal is to simply use three or more items from the inspiration list on your project and link up! #festivefridaychallenge At Festive Friday, you do not need to actually celebrate the occasion. I hope you’ll make a card, scrapbook page or 3-D project and join us. You don’t need a blog to enter Festive Friday. Check out this link on how you can play along with this challenge. This week’s challenge FF #196 - Armistice/Veterans Day

In Canada, we call this Remembrance Day.

I chose red, black, watercolour and paper piecing for this pretty card featuring the products from the Stampin' Up!® Traditional Christmas Suite. I love how this card turned out!

Instructions

Cut Basic Black cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4". Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form cardbase.
Cut Real Red cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
Cut Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"
Mix Pretty in Pink ink with water.
Spritz Fluid 100 paper with water
Use Water Painter to apply Pretty in pink ink. Let dry.
When dry, adhere to Real Red cardstock
Adhere to card base.
Stamp Fluid 100 Paper with image using Versamark. Sprinkle with Black Embossing Powder and heat to melt.
Mix Old Olive ink with water and Colour leaves
Colour flowers with Pretty in Pink ink mixed with water.
Let dry.
Stamp flower on Designer Series Paper using Tuxedo Black Memento ink
Cut out using Paper Snips
Adhere to the centre flower
Cut out large image using Die.
Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
Cut out double banner from Real Red cardstock using Die.
Stamp sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
Adhere to the card base using Dimensionals
Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
Cut Designer Series Paper 3/4" x 4"
Adhere to the Basic White cardstock.
Adhere to the inside of the card.
