Wishing You a Year of Wonder

When I grew up in Alberta, we always saw the Northern Lights in the skies in the winter, especially on cold nights.  The Lights of Aurora Suite in the Stampin' Up!® Sep to Dec Mini Catalogue brings back memories of the beautiful colours in the sky! 

It was fun to create this card remembering those nights!  With the amazing Designer Series Paper and beautiful dies, this card was easy to make!



Instructions

  1. Cut Secret Sea cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score at 4 1/4".  Fold and burnish on scoreline using Bone Folder to form card base.
  2. Cut Berry Burst cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
  3. Cut Designer Series Paper 3 7/8" x 5 1/8"
  4. Adhere Designer Series Paper to Berry Burst cardstock
  5. Adhere to card base.
  6. Cut out trees from Secret Sea cardstock using Dies - make sure you leave about 2" at bottom.
  7. Trim off to 3 7/8" wide.
  8. Stamp sentiment on the bottom using Versamark.  Sprinkle with White Embossing Powder and heat to melt.
  9. Adhere to card base using Dimensionals.
  10. Adhere embellishments.
  11. Cut Basic White cardstock 4" x 5 1/4"
  12. Cut Designer Series Paper 3/4" x 4" and adhere to the bottom of the Basic White cardstock
  13. Adhere to the inside of the card.
